Our office has a new European patent attorney

We are proud to announce that a member of our team Maja Boric Vezjak has passed the European Qualifying Examination (EQE) at the EPO and is now eligible to represent clients before EPO in all procedures connected with European patent applications and European patents. Maja has achieved great success at the exam, since she was in top 5% of all candidates for one paper and in top 25% of all candidates for two papers.

The EQE is designed to establish whether the candidate has the requisite aptitude and knowledge to represent applicants before the EPO. Candidates need to be particularly conversant with European patent law, the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT), the Paris Convention, EPO board of appeal case law and certain national laws in so far as they apply to European patent applications and European patents.

Maja has gained a lot of knowledge and fresh ideas on patenting, thus she will be able to efficiently assist in all patenting issues.
